McCluskey, Huebesch, Bohl familiesll photographs were submitted by Tammy (Fry) Ottersen. These old pictures belonged to her mother, Elaine Markely.  Elaine's mother was Irene Mary McCluskey.  Irene's parents were Paulina (Lena) Bohl and James J. McCluskey.  James' parents were Bernard (Barney) McCluskey and Alice Greenan.  Alice was "Irish" John Smith's first cousin.

Tammy said Paulina McCluskey lived with her daughter, Irene, for many years after James' death in 1904.  He was a young man when he died.  Their family lore says Grandma Lena had an Irish Catholic Wake held in in their Hill Point family home, which lasted a week for viewings and goodbyes. Paulina Bohl McCluskey died in 1943.  All photographs in this section belong to Tammy.  Currently we are looking to identify all these old pictures, and some of you readers may be able to help.  If you do recognize any image please contact Tammy at her email address: 'tlottersen@gmail.com'.

My favorite picture in this lot shows two gentlemen drinking beers and smoking cigars.  Based on clothing style it was probably taken in the late 1870s or 1880s. None of these photographs had been ID'd before Tammy sent them along to her kin.  Our initial thoughts regarding these pictures are as follows:
